At Ludens, we approach Mixed Martial Arts not just as a combat sport, but as a disciplined, creative, and empowering movement practice. Led by Aman Arora and Nikhil Munyal, this class draws from diverse martial traditions to give you a well-rounded, high-skill experience—regardless of your starting point. Aman brings years of hands-on training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Capoeira, and Boxing—a blend of grounded grappling, fluid acrobatics, and crisp striking. His approach focuses on precision, rhythm, and adaptability, helping you build body awareness and control under pressure. Nikhil, trained for years in a Filipino martial art, offers a deep understanding of weapon-based and empty-hand fighting systems. His teaching emphasizes timing, reflexes, flow, and efficiency—combining traditional methods with modern applications. Together, we offer a space where: You can explore MMA safely and progressively—no ego, no intimidation. Beginners are welcomed with patience, and advanced practitioners are challenged with intention. We build technical skill, movement intelligence, cardiovascular fitness, and mental clarity. There’s a focus on drills, sparring (optional), footwork, defense, and strategy—not just brute force. Whether you're here to get fit, learn to defend yourself, express your inner fighter, or simply try something new—you’ll find this class to be engaging, empowering, and deeply satisfying. Expect a dynamic blend of: Striking (boxing, kicks, elbows, knees) Grappling (takedowns, positional control, submissions) Mobility & conditioning drills Partner work, flow drills & sparring (with consent) All levels welcome. Cancellation Policy
All participants must complete a health waiver before joining any group class. Pre-registration is recommended as class sizes are limited; walk-ins are welcome if space permits. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to prepare. Late arrivals may not be allowed to join once the warm-up has begun, for safety reasons. Class packs and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Missed classes are not credited back, except under documented medical circumstances at Ludens’ discretion. To cancel or reschedule, please use our booking system or contact us directly as soon as possible. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, follow all coach instructions, respect fellow members, and maintain personal hygiene. Clean and return equipment after use. Mobile phones should be silent and stored away during class. Scaling options are provided in all classes to accommodate different experience levels. If you have an injury or limitation, please inform your coach before class begins so we can adjust movements appropriately. Ludens is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Photos or short videos may occasionally be taken for marketing; let us know if you prefer not to appear. By participating in group classes at Ludens Fitness Studio, you agree to follow these policies and accept responsibility for your own health and safety.
